a few years ago i went to busch gardens with an internet friend i’ve known for years and her plus one (they are both aspiring geologists) and when we got to new france they bought a bag of sediment from the shop and started gold panning and we were there at the nearby fountain for 45 minutes where i was just watching them. so i think the gold panning game idea has legs
